Cookie Policy Eng

We use cookies to make our site easier and more intuitive. The data collected through cookies is used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable and more efficient in the future.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the terminal of the affected (usually to the browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the site at the next visit of the same user. A cookie cannot call any other data from the user's hard drive or transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's Web browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be entrusted to other technologies. In this document with the term ' cookie ' you want to refer to both cookies, proper and all similar technologies.

Type of cookies

Cookies may be first or third party, where "first part" means cookies that report the site as a domain, while "third party" means cookies that are related to external domains.
Third party cookies are necessarily installed by an external subject, always referred to as "third party", not managed by the site. These subjects may also install first-party cookies, saving their cookies to the domain of the site.
Another type of cookie is the so-called "flash cookies" (Local Shared Objects), which are used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver some content, such as video clips or animations, so you remember the settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.

Nature of Cookies

With regard to the nature of cookies, there are several types:

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are those used for the purpose of "transmitting a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary to the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or the user to provide such service" (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or website manager. Can be divided into:

  • Navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal browsing and enjoyment of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas); They are in fact necessary for the proper functioning of the site;
  • Cookie analytics, assimilated to the technical cookies where used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve the performance of the site;
  • Feature cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. The user's prior consent (more information in the Cookie Management section below) is not required for the installation of these cookies.

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used in order to send advertisements in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the field of network browsing.
In the case of third party cookies, the site does not have a direct control of individual cookies and cannot check them (it cannot either install them directly or delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below), or the sites listed in the "Managing Cookies" section.
The user is therefore asked to verify on the third party site shown in the table below.
